Formovie THEATER Ultra Short Throw 4K Laser Projector

The Theater (original Formovie Theater, predecessor to the Theater Premium) is the older-generation UST 4K with the ALPD blue-phosphor laser rather than the newer ALPD 4.0 RGB+B triple-color, 1,800 ISO lumens, and a slightly longer 0.23 throw ratio. Same Dolby Vision support, same 4-driver speaker array, same 9.8 kg cabinet. At its (now reduced) price tier versus the Theater Premium, the original Theater competes with the Hisense PX2-PRO and the Samsung Premiere LSP7T; the Formovie buy reason is the Dolby Vision support at a price below the current Premium model, the trade-off versus the Premium is the older blue-phosphor laser that delivers narrower color volume than ALPD 4.0 RGB+B and the lower 1,800-lumen brightness in rooms with any ambient light. Pick by current pricing: if the Theater is at clearance pricing below $2,000, it remains a strong value; at MSRP it's superseded by the Premium.
